Campsites
Located on the Atlantic Ocean, this beachfront campground offers spectacular sights by the water and sunset views along with great coastal eats. It also boasts tons of fun activities and attractions.
Campsites at Ocean Lakes are spacious with concrete pads and hookups and accommodate a maximum of six guests. This resort is home to 859 campsites, as well as vacation rental houses that sleep 4 – 20 people. Its amenities include Sandy Harbor Water Park, an RV Center that provides sales and service, and a Nature Center Discovery Lab.
Other resort highlights include 5 lakes in the campground, a snack bar for breakfast and ice cream, playgrounds, and picnic areas, a volleyball court, horseshoes, and basketball courts. In addition, guests can enjoy multiple swimming pools and a splash zone at Sandy Harbor. Kids will love the multiple playgrounds with small rock walls for climbing, steering wheels, and monkey bars. They’ll also enjoy the themed mini putt putt course.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground is a popular vacation destination for families and has everything they need to make memories that last a lifetime. The 310-acre campground features more than 800 RV campsites, annual lease sites, and vacation rental homes. Thousands of visitors visit this Myrtle Beach campground every year and find it is more than just your typical beachfront camping experience.

Sandy Harbor Family Fun Center
The 310-acre Ocean Lakes resort offers families 893 campsites, rental trailers homes, and amenities that are more than just a campground. This award-winning vacation destination has a game center, indoor swimming pool, outdoor, and a huge Sandy Harbor water park. The beach is a quick golf cart ride away and the whole family can enjoy the refreshing Atlantic Ocean.
Located within the family fun center are a cafe, a large convenience store, and an indoor recreational building for year-round entertainment. There are also multiple playgrounds, a Nature Center, and an Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool, so this is truly a full family vacation destination.
New in 2015 is a 2-acre water park at Sandy Harbor. This includes a huge Adventure River hybrid lazy river, the Splash Zone interactive water play structure for kids with slides, The Tube slide, and the Drop Zone Mat Racer 4-lane slide. The water park requires lifeguards and has a shorter season and hours of operation.
Activities
There are year-round activities to enjoy at Ocean Lakes. Some of these events are meant for families and others include music, crafts, and group games. Children can also sign up for Kamp Starfish, which runs daily from June through August. This camp for kids includes fun-filled activities so Mom and Dad can have some time to themselves on vacation.
If you’re a music lover, check out the final Premier Bluegrass Weekend in August. This event will feature top bluegrass artists, including Rhonda Vincent and Russell Moore & Third Tyme Out.
Fall is a great time to visit the beach, as sea turtles nest in this season. You can also find a lot of treasures by combing the sands for shells and other sea gems. This is also the best time to take a ride on the SkyWheel, which was once the world’s second-largest Ferris wheel.
